Free The Hops
By Jamie Lay on Thursday, May 15, 2008 9:21 AM

In June, SportsUnlimited will publish a story about the explosion of craft/gourmet beers and breweries in the Southeast. In our research we stumbled across "Free The Hops" a grassroots organization in Alabama created to help change Alabama's archane beer laws. On Monday, May 19 the Alabama state Senate will vote on the organization's "Gourmet Beer Bill." If you live in Alabama and wish to help "Free The Hops," please visit freethehops.org/blog.
